Characters
Below are just a few of the many people and creatures living in and around The Happiness House. It's a thriving friendly neighbourhood community that anyone would love to be a part of.
Nanami-chan
Nanami-chan is the joint main character of the anime. He is a yellow fairy who appeared to Michi when she moved into The Happiness House. He quickly became her best friend and has since brought smiles to all! A very playful creature with nothing to hide, but still mysterious in his existence as no one is quite sure where he came from or why.
Michi
Michi is the main human character in the anime. She moved into The Happiness House with her parents and has so far enjoyed her time there immensely. Nanami-chan appeared to Michi in her bedroom almost as soon as she first arrived, and soon adopted him both as a pet and as a friend. She has an adventurous streak which often gets her into trouble, however with her partner in crime Nanami-chan, everything always works out just fine.
Michi's Mother
Michi's mother is the boss around the house. She stays home and looks after her small plant garden as a passtime. If someone is giving Michi a telling off, it's probably her mother!
Michi's Father
Michi's father is far softer on Michi (and everyone else) than her mother. He also gets on very well with Nanami-chan. He has a light hearted catchphrase, "What? It's my fault?" which is used regularly - in fact almost any time something goes wrong, whether his fault or not. But it's all in good fun.
